 The
RPG VariScreen™ is the industry’s first
free standing variable acoustic screen with a broad
bandwidth absorber on one side and RPG’s BAD Panel
(Absorber / Diffuser) on the other. This hinged upholstered
acoustic screen can be positioned and adjusted with
a Variable Depth Air Cavity (VDAC™) to control
low frequency modal problems. The VariScreen™
is designed for difficult to treat rooms in which surface
application is not possible and flexibility is paramount.
Acoustically problematic rooms are easily tamed with
the VariScreen™ as well as almost any critical
listening space.
The RPG VariScreen™ is a hinged, freestanding
acoustic screen, which supports itself by adjusting
the panel-opening angle. By making the angle smaller
and increasing the depth of the air cavity, more low
frequency absorption can be obtained. Corner mounting
is also very effective for low frequency control. When
not in use, the VariScreen™ stores flat.
