than carpeting or standard ceiling tiles. Sonex™
acoustic foams are offered in two different materials
and several different patterns to serve your sound-absorption
needs.
Sonex™ acoustic foams come
in standard sheet sizes and can come with decorative
coatings (hypalon or painted) to fit your application
needs. All of the Sonex™ acoustic foam materials
provide excellent performance and easy installation.
The Sonex class 1 fire rated foams meet the most
stringent public building codes nationally and locally.
The same great acoustical performance is also offered
in the traditional Sonex open celled polyurethane
foam. Unique surface patterns of the acoustical
foam deflect sound waves and convert the noise energy
into quiet, kinetic energy. Sonex™ acoustic
foams are available in a wide range of thicknesses,
colors and patterns with sound absorption ratings
ranging from NRC .75 – 1.10.
