 The
ABSC-25 Combination Blankets, (absorber/barrier/absorber)
encapsulates a vinyl sound barrier septum, allowing
sound absorption and sound attenuation in one efficient
product. The ABSC-25 acoustical blankets consist of
a non-reinforced 1-lb per square foot mass loaded vinyl
barrier sandwiched between two layers of vinyl coated
fiberglass cloth faced 1” quilted absorbers. The
sound attenuation blankets are constructed with grommets
across the top and Velcro® along the vertical edges
and can be custom sized. Typical uses include industrial
sound control. These sound blankets are also commonly
used as separator walls or divider partitions and to
line the perimeter walls of a building. These sound
attenuation blankets are Class 1 fire-rated and are
a double duty sound blanket in that they work for both
absorbing and blocking sound.
