PolyPhon™ Panels are sound absorbing panels developed with environmental friendliness in mind.

The panels are made from 100% polyester (60% PET-recycled fiber and 40% PET-virgin fiber) and are 100% recyclable.

PolyPhon™ Panels offer many environmental advantages over the traditional fiberglass sound absorption panel, such as:

  • Formaldehyde free
  • No binding agents
  • No odor
  • Dust free
  • No risk of skin irritation
  • No risk of respiratory problems
  • 60% PET-recycled content
  • 100% recyclable
  • Class A Fire Rated

Along with the many environmental advantages, the PolyPhon™ Panels also offer several other advantages that standard fiberglass panels cannot match, such as:

  • PolyPhon™ has a higher tackability
  • PolyPhon™ has a higher degree of resiliency for the board itself
  • PolyPhon™ can be put up without a fabric covering

  • Hi Chris,

PolyPhon can be installed on wooden trusses. I would recommend using the z-clip method of installation: http://www.acousticalsolutions.com/install-directions-for-polyphon-acoustical-panels/display_lightbox/prod_565

    Hi Christopher,

Acoustical wall panels are a sound absorber, meaning they have an NRC rating and lower reverberation inside a space. Sound blockers have STC ratings and stop sound transmission between spaces. The only way to soundproof a door is to use a door seal kit (http://acousticalsolutions.com/598~door-seal-kits), or replace your existing door with a heavier one, or do both for better results. If it's in your budget, you can also purchase an acoustical door (http://acousticalsolutions.com/66~acoustical-doors) which is specifically designed to have a high STC rating.
