Office with foam and panels

Office Designs For Noise Reduction

Proper office design will factor in the sound levels within the office space and determine where office noise reduction materials are needed. Office noise reduction requires the use of absorptive materials to reduce sound levels within the office space.

Absorption products like fabric wrapped and tackable AlphaSorb wall panels are commonly used in office design. Acoustical ceiling tiles are also crucial to reducing noise levels, especially when treatable wall space in an office is limited. Acoustical foam can also be used in office spaces, as illustrated by the accompanying photograph.

Sound blocking products such as Audioseal Sound Barrier, barrier wall panels and door seal kits can also be used in office designs to increase privacy and security in executive offices, treatment rooms and conference rooms. Offices required to meet HIPPA regulations can greatly benefit from the use of these sound blocking materials. Office spaces with good acoustical conditions result in higher employee productivity and a happier, more efficient office environment.
