Iso-Step™ Floor underlayment is an environmentally friendly rubber based product made from recycled tires that is available in 1lb/sqft and 2lb/sqft models. It offers credible sound reduction of both airborne and structure borne noise.
Iso-Step™ floor underlayment also offers STC performance superioir to other underlayments in the market today. The ¼"-thick model has a STC 26, and the ½"-thick model has a STC 31.
Iso-Step™ underlayment can be installed over wood or concrete sub floor and can be installed under hardwood, vinyl, tile and carpet flooring.
