Firestop Pillows are the product of choice for both the people who do firestopping for a living as well as the ones who just want to look like they do!
Firestop Pillows are simple to install. Just stack & stuff. Unlike other products that incorporate intumescent sheets or coatings on just the top and bottom surfaces, our Firestop Pillows are coated on all sides meaning faster and more aggressive expansion. Installation is also easier since no special orientation is required.
No other product of this type is tested and classified for as wide as a variety of applications. The ability to install from one side of a wall or floor makes firestopping those hard-to-access applications a snap!
This is also the easiest firestop system to retrofit. Foam blocks and steel panels simply can't even come close to the ease of reentry provided by Firestop Pillows. Remove a pillow. Add a cable. Stuff the pillow back in. It's that simple!
Firestop Pillows are tested to the rigorous requirements of UL 1479 (ASTM E 814). A wide variety of tested systems cover virtually any firestopping application that you can think of.
