AudioSeal™ Drop Tile Ceiling Barrier Installation Instructions

Acoustical Solutions Audioseal™ drop ceiling barrier is a composite product that combines a 1" or 2" decoupler and a barrier with a reinforced aluminized facing.

The product is designed to be placed over existing drop ceiling tiles to improve transmission loss.

Starting at one corner of the drop ceiling unroll the product with the quilted fiberglass facing the drop ceiling tiles.

• Unroll to required length.

• If the product is to long, excess may be cut off with scissors or utility knife.

• If the area to be covered is larger than the roll is long, the next roll of product should overlap the first roll by approximately 2".

Adjoining rolls should overlap each other by approximately 2" to ensure there are no leaks or gaps in the Audioseal™ drop ceiling barrier.
