The Silent Screen Panel System is engineered for acoustical enclosures and noise barriers where structural integrity, cost efficiency, and noise abatement are of major concerns.
The Silent Screen system is a light-weight, extremely versatile, and high performing noise mitigation system.
Silent Screen panels provide noise reduction when impinging sound strikes the perforated side of the Silent Screen panel allowing the sound energy to be absorbed.
The Silent Screen systems has been is use for over 20 years for every noise mitigation need including highway DOT projects, aircraft noise solutions, cooling tower and HVAC noise, equipment and generator enclosures.
Silent Screen noise mitigation systems have a successfully history of providing significant noise level reductions for a broad range of industry solutions such as gas compressor stations, well & drilling operations, trucking docs and bus stations, generators, skid-mounted enclosures, shunt reactors, and construction sites.
Silent Screen Features & Benefits:
- Meets or exceeds all AASHTO & DOT guidelines
- Modular lightweight design
- Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) of 1.05 (ASTM C423 )
- Sound Transmission Class (STC) of 35 (ASTM E90)
- No heavy equipment required for installations or repair
Silent Screen Panel Description:
- Panels are fabricated from 22 to 16 gauge sheet steel and conform to the structural quality and galvanized in accordance with ASTM A-653, Class G-90
- The panels have a width of 12 inches and a thickness of 2 ¾ inches or 3 ¾ inches
- The face panel tray is made of 22 gauge perforated cold-formed ASTM A-653 steel and has 3/16 inch diameter perforations in a 3/8 inch staggered pattern.
- The back panel tray is made of 16 gauge non-perforated cold-formed ASTM A653 steel. The back panel tray is filled with six pound density mineral wool and then covered with the front panel tray by sliding it using the formed guides.
- The individual panels can be "nested" either vertically or horizontally into structural members; in heights or lengths up to 14 feet before intermediate girths may be required.
- All materials used in the manufacture of the Silent Screen noise panels are made in the USA.
